Went to the butcher shop for some lamb, and the selection, and quality, of lamb, beef and pork is readily evident. The seafood selection, however, is limited, and likely with slow turnover. While there, we decided to have a sandwich, which is ordered, and paid for, at the counter. There is no indoor seating, and only a few tables are available in front of the store. Most orders are take-out, and it is VERY busy around the noon hour.
We both had a Stanford Melt sandwich, which is hot roast beef, melted Swiss and bleu cheese, caramalized red onions and mustard on a toasted French roll. We both REALLY enjoyed the sandwiches!
We'll try a different sandwich next trip to the butcher shop.
