First visit unwittingly on the Amador crush celebration near end of day. Lovely facility; great parking; gracious staff; snacks and gifts for purchase; and .... great, nicely-priced wine.

Thank Catherine E

It's the Wandering Yank here. We visited during the annual Big Crush affair in October, but we had also been a number of times over the years. It's a lovely setting - a bit off the busier parts of the Amador wine region, nestled among their grapes. It's also a bit larger, so it can accommodate groups easily. The wine is excellent, and the staff is delightful.

2 thumbs up!

My husband and I attended the Barbera Festival in Amador County. Terra d'Oro hosted the festival at their stunningly beautiful winery and vineyard. We were able to explore their grounds while tasting wonderful wines from around 70 vineyards. Terra d'Oro had one of the best Barbera's we tasted all day and we ended up purchasing 3 bottles. We can't wait to go back and taste even more wines from this vineyard! They are now one of our favorite wineries in Plymouth.

Stopped by to pick my club wines. A nice variety of wines from Rhones, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Syrah. The staff was very helpful and friendly. A casual and spacious tasting room. Ample parking and nice picnic area. A nice place to spend the afternoon after the weather cools down.

We visited three wineries today. Terra d'Oro Winery was first on the list and it was very friendly. Would be a nice place to bring a picnic too! The tasting was free and their wines are very reasonably priced. The Sangiovese was our favorite. From there we went to Renwood and then Skinner. A great day! We love this area!
