While visiting Ramona and staying at the Good Life Timeshares in the Country Estates area, I played the San Vicente Golf course and really enjoyed it. It was a very nice layout and the abundant California Poppies made it very scenic as well.

Have played here a few times over the past few years and twice this year on a stay and play deal. The condition of the course is phenomenal compared to nearby Mt. Woodson, which makes it good, still some bare fairway patches and rough tees, the greens were great.
The problem is with the local players. Quite often extra players appear in their single carts and make up 5 or even 6 somes once the group is away from the clubhouse, miraculously disappearing as the clubhouse approaches. This really is unacceptable and a Marshall is becoming a necessity, the Proshop whilst very helpful are sedentary by nature!

We played here on a cold windy day but the course was in excellent condition. The greens are fantastic; they are in great shape and are consistent.

Not a 5/5 because the driving range is only 190 yards long.

This course is walkable but also allows power carts on most holes.

Beware - this is a challenging course. There are bunkers, water hazards and trees.

The hot chocolate served by the halfway hut was most welcome! :)

Not enough daylight for super, but still fun time. Good course at a great resort. Challenging first time, better second time. Great vistas with mountains and water.

This is the third time we have stayed here! The first time was Father's Day June 2013 when I booked a stay and play package. We were delighted to see what good shape the golf course was in, green and pretty! We had a delicious prime rib at the restaurant with a beautiful view and then had drinks in the bar/lounge area and listened to the live band. What a wonderful time we had. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We have now been here three times and will continue to go back!
