Not much to see from the outside but the food is (and always has been) excellent. Some of the best fish in Sac whens its available. The garlic steak sandwich is a staple and is very good. Portions are generous. This visit I have the mixed seafood grill and it was great and served in a tomato cream sauce of sorts. The seafood was plentiful and cooked perfectly. If you are going for the first time or taking someone there, the building doesn't look like you'd think but don't let that fool you. Once in, the atmosphere is friendly and this place is know by the business community as a great place for lunch.

This is the perfect hidden dive bar/restaurant. Wrap your head around that and you'll love the experience. All personality and the staff are the heart of it all. Like your favorite pair of old tattered jeans (you wouldn't be caught wearing in public).
Best Ribeye bet in Sacramento.
Not a 5-star restaurant, but shamelessly a 5-star dive.

I went on a business lunch to Jamie's for the first time and I thought the person I was with was crazy. No name on the building and didn't look like a place to eat. Wow, I was wrong. The service was great, the barbecue brisket with onions was out of this world. Old style feeling inside. Parking is ok. Price was good as well. I'm glad I found another place to eat lunch.

Arrived around six. Place is a dump and hard to find, however the promise of great food and an expansive menu seemed worth the effort.
The menu we were given was sparse (dinner?). Specials were sold out. Don't believe their web site.
