We just spent one night at Wydown while visiting the area for Bottlerock. I was very surprised with how nice this hotel is for the price. Room 3 was very spacious and comfortable. Lovely towels and linens. Quiet. He said the hotel was full but we never heard anyone else. The continental breakfast is lovely with artisan granola, pastries from local high end bakeries and delicious coffee. Everything about it was perfect. They do not have a pool or hot tub but have privileges at a place down the street that we did not try. The decor is warm modern with an industrial vibe. Josh the manager was super nice. We will be happy to return any time visiting wine country.

We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay with us! Room #3 is one of my favorite rooms with plenty of natural light and a view of Main Street. All our rooms do include complimentary day passes to the Health Spa Napa Valley’s fitness center, lap-pool, jacuzzi and sauna. They also offer our guests a 15% discount on any 50-minute (or greater) spa service. We look forward to your return!

My wife and I stayed at the Wydown for a long weekend. We stayed in room 10. It was a nice size room, very clean and comfortable located at the front of the building facing Main St. All the rooms are located on the 2nd floor of this two story building. Buffet breakfast was included in the rate. The buffet consisted of hard boiled eggs, pastry's, yogurt, granola, fruit, coffee, tea and juices. The english muffins and pastry's are from a local bakery and were delicious! The coffee was also very good. Friday night they had a free wine tasting with Viader, very nice touch. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There is covered parking lot at the back of the hotel. St Helena is a great little town central to all of the vineyards in the valley. They will ship wine you purchased via a shipping company across the road from the hotel. Another nice touch the hotel provides. I would highly recommend staying at Wydown any time. Hope to return soon.

Room Tip: go for a corner room

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Our pastries now come from Bouchon Bakery and the English muffins are from Model Bakery. The owner's favorite coffee spot in Napa is Ritual Coffee Roasters so we are proud to serve their premium coffee. Adams Street Shipping has been doing a great job ensuring our guest's wine is carefully handled and shipped out in a timely manner. Several of our local wineries have been very generous to offer their time and share some of their fine wines for our Friday evening tastings. Viader is definitely one of our favorites. We look forward to your return visit!

We enjoyed the ambience of St. Helena, It reminded us of New England towns. The Wyedown is a conversion of an old building - very well done. But, like most lodging in St. Helena it is expensive for what it is. The lobby is spacious and trendy...but lacks warmth. The continental breakfast was tasty. The staff were accomodating. We enjoyed our stay.

My wife found this gem of a hotel after some internet searching, once we decided on an extended long weekend in wine country. I’m so glad she did. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this boutique hotel - especially the location! We loved being within walking distance of good food and great wine, and a short drive from...even more good food and great wine. We miss it already, and will be back the next time we decide on another wine-soaked long weekend.

Usually I would say location, location and this place has #1 location for food, wine, shopping, but add to that staff - Carol, Holly and Joshua made our stay incredibly nice and even more pleasant. A great place to stay! Rooms are nice sized, walk in showers, plenty of space. Next time will request room with exterior windows, as our windows were open to small corridor and other rooms. Sheers under roman shades would have been nice to let in natural light during day yet still allowing a little privacy. Only other improvement and this may be due to water conservation, but water pressure in the shower was a bit weak... manageable, but I can't give it a 10. We were able to walk to great restaurants, shopping, and even wine tastings. Parking in rear was very convenient. Would highly recommend a stay at the Wydown! Thank you for making our St. Helena stay so nice!

Room Tip: Exterior facing rooms for natural light, super location! Staff EXCEPTIONAL
