My wife and I, East Coasters, were treated to dinner at Bistro Viz by her brother from nearby Kentfield. They are seasoned appreciators of the local restaurant scene and have lived in the area for 30 years. It was warm enough to sit outside. This is a true "bistrot", which means fast in Russian, but the meal was not at all hurried. The menu is suitably eclectic, and the wine list expansive with many local offerings unfamiliar to me. Chef/owner/sommelier Soo Young Kim made perfect pairing suggestions. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. I have no suggestions for improvement!
