This museum has many items with which to listen, see, and try. It is interactive and has friendly helpful staff. We learned some new things during our 1 hour and 45 minute stay. We purchased some flying machines to play with at home. If you come prior to 4pm you can have your name printed in 3D. A place to learn a lot of information and have fun. I recommend.

You don't need to be an airplane enthusiast to enjoy this pearl of a museum.
Airplanes from the beginning of aviation, storytelling, interactive experiences, drone academy and much more.
It's special to be seated in the cockpit of a 747.

PS: The shop have great stuff as well.

What this is not: a war bird museum like most. Hiller was a pioneer in vertical flight and much of the display is dedicated to that. The only outside static display is the nose section of an old 747. Inside there are early 1900's craft, a couple of rare cars and a few craft with a noted ownership. It seems much of their effort is to use this place to help educate youngsters about flight and it's history. For that I give it an extra point. There is a mezzanine that is only open on weekends.

We have visited the Hiller Aviation Museum on a few occasions. The displays are very interesting. There is so much aviation history to explore during your visit. We really enjoyed all of our visits to the museum.

I was on a weekend trip to visit my daughter and the two of se decide to make a stop at this great aviation museum mainly because I am a pilot and aviation geek. There are a lot of great things to see including the top half of a 747 for those that have never been able to fly in one and visit the upper deck or cockpit. Take time to visit when in the area and support these types of museums because they depend on your support and besides the kids and maybe yourself will also love it!
