Valencia Peak is actually in Los Osos in Montana de Oro State Park.
It's a nice hike with lots of uphill and rocky terrain. It will take about 3 hours total so devote some time and take your time. There is a little box with a sign in log at the top, very cute. Once at the top of 1,347' Valencia Peak there are spectacular views all the way up the coast and of Morro Bay and Morro Rock. I've done it 5+ times. I highly recommend it to anybody who regularly hikes and is looking for something new!
