I'm rather shocked that the hotel won't send me the billing details that I've now directly requested three times from the general manager.
I was quoted a price when I made the booking with the hotel before our stay, when I checked out, I asked for a copy of the bill/credit card charges but was told by the staff member that I didn't need one as it would be exactly as in the original booking email. It wasn't, and I cannot get an explanation for the additional charge. I accept that it's only a few dollars, but I would like to know why there's this difference. As with anything I might buy, I expect the price to be as specified - if it isn't, then the difference should be explained.
I have never ever had an experience where a business will not provide details of its charges and a breakdown of a bill - at the very best this is highly unprofessional.More
