I started coming here for work lunches and was surprised to find high quality sushi in an unlikely corner of Marin. Now I bring my kids at least a couple of times a month for dinner and it has yet to disappoint. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The fish is fresh and well prepared. I always order the 49er roll - excellent!

Look for green awning, corner of building, ground floor. Sign in on your own, if there is a line. The sushi chefs are working making beautiful creations presented as interesting as the names of their speciality rolls. Fresh, oh yes! The card index on the table is very helpful, but our first time we ordered a LOT of sushi not realizing the rolls are usually 8 pieces. Lots of avocado incorporated into works of art rolled into a taste treat, which we love. Miso soup is sooo good as a starter. Service is slow, so order at tables everything you want. 3rd time had time for desert, green tea cheese cake and black sesame ice cream. Wonderful, interesting flavors, and am anxious to order again, but must not eat so much....

This place could reach new heights with small changes if the waiters could reach the chef's level.

The waiters should clean the tables better and also do not leave the cloth to wipe the tables.

Also with a little more corrodination and calm, guests will not wait so long to sit down.

Now that you make so nice sushi ask the guests what they particularly appreciate - especially when it comes to fresh fish and when the chef can do so much more than what the menu card offers.

The waiters should also, as the boss, have a blackboard around and present today's specials and remember to tell about the selection of Sake.

Last but not least, a restaurant with this standard and who makes so nice sushi should not have televisions hanging - all focus should be on the lovely and fresh fish ready for the guests.

Looking for somewhere close to my office and heard about this hidden gem. I had the sushi lunch special, California roll and 8 pieces of sashimi-chef' s choice. Came with miso soup and a small salad. All delicious and a reasonable price for lunch. Will definitely try this place again.
