If you are looking for a place to have a romantic dinner, or a nice sunday brunch, the Panama Hotel is a wonderful place to go. When you first arrive, parking can be a bit of a challenge so arrive early and definitely make reservations. My favorite entrée was the Ahi Tuna ceviche with avocado, red onions, serrano chile, cherry tomatoes and a touch of cilantro. My date had the Fire Roasted Poblano Chile stuffed with quinoa, mushrooms, goat cheese and pine nuts with a smoky red chili sauce. I snuck a few bites of that dish!! Yumm!

You can also stay at the hotel if you are looking for overnight accommodations. Another plus is that they are a pet friendly hotel!! There is even a Yappy hour, 4-5:30 Tuesday-Fridays, where you can bring your pet and enjoy a beverage and a little something from the restaurant.

There js outdoor seating and plenty of umbrellas to provide shade on a sunny day. The tropical garden setting is beautifully adorned with a variety of plants and flowers. Inside there are beautiful arch windows, soft and warm lighting, and a fascinating collection of teapots that adorn the restaurant.
You can't go wrong here. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Went there for lunch. Terrific beet salad, and reasonably priced. On another occasion,
I stopped in for a glass of wine, and there was a live jazz group playing! Great atmosphere (colorful, tasteful decor) tucked away on a residential street in SR. Very good service from a pleasant, helpful young man. Welcoming.
