Great bread. Not cheap, but really worth it. Good bagels and scones, all excellent. One of the top bakeries in Santa Barbara

Stopped by by accident and frond this bakery had great sandwiches, salads and draft beer. Located in the "wine and "beer" tasting area, you won't go wrong.
When I read that the Helena Avenue Bakery reminded a reviewer of Jane's bakery in "It's Complicated", I had to track it down. With my GPS in hand, we went right to it's location. The bakery actually shares a building with the Santa Barbara Wine Collective. What could be better; wine and pastries! (Maybe not eaten together!) Although we just came in to sample delicious grapefruit muffins, we wished we'd been hungry as the breakfast and lunch selections looked wonderful. Their sandwiches would be perfect for winetasting across the room! It was fun to watch the bakery staff making their treats as we ate. We'll be back!
Wonderful breads. They serve some simple breakfast items. I enjoy the space and staff are very willing to serve and make suggestions.
Located in the trendy area of Santa Barbara it is a great place for breakfast and lunch. You can watch them make the pastries in the morning and everyone is nice and friendly. My sticky bun was tasty and the coffee was rich and strong.
