Rancho Oso RV & Camping Resort
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 22 September 2017

Rancho Oso is a campground in an idyllic mountain setting but with modern amenities like a game room, Wi-Fi lodge and swimming pool! It really was the best of both worlds! We enjoyed our stay and will be coming back for sure.

We are always happy with our stay there. Linda in the store is the best ever- super pleasant and accomodating! The restrooms were great, and the grounds are beautifully cared for. Even the Labor day weekend was handled well by the staff.

The history and charm of Rancho Oso make it a wonderful environment in which to stay. The tiered campground provides, not just a lovely view for each site, but also GREAT exercise! I particularly enjoyed the pool area. Another bonus was the wonderful chapel: the Pastor creates an excellent environment for both.learning and praise!

I don't ride anymore but I enjoy seeing the horses, cow pokes, and all that goes with it. Kinda has the feel of a working ranch. Was happy to see that the recent brush fires didn't do any real damage to the preserve. This was my third or forth stay here and I'll come back again.

Please know that this location is indeed beautiful but needs a little remodeling in some areas. Please upgrade electrical panels in partial hookup sites to accommodate the necessary requirements of campers on the transformers. Also, the grading on some of the sites could be improved to match the quality seen and experienced with the gravel/flat full hookup sites offered.
