Authentic plate lunch style restaurant, this place has local Hawaiian favorites such as teriyaki beef/chicken, Kalua pork, manapua, and spam musubi. Atmosphere is laid back, order at counter and they bring to your table, indoor and outdoor seating options. Classic beverages such as Hawaiian sun juice and kona brewing beers. You can stroll in off right off the beach and you'll be welcome.
Food was very good. We split two plate lunches: Kalua pork and teriyaki chicken, and we had a Manapua as well. Rice was perfect, mac salad was spot on, teriyaki chicken was charred well and Kalua pork had perfect texture.
Area for improvement: Kalua pork was a bit too salty, I'd recommend ordering with two scoops of rice to help cut it than just one scoop. Teriyaki chicken needed more teriyaki sauce on the side, request that.
