I prefer to take my time and relax with coffee, ask the barista what beans they are using, watch them make the drink, and then enjoy the time. Still, there are times when your best coffee choice may not be in the ideal setting. This is one such time and place. Other than Hot Shots, good coffee in the early morning in Sonoma is difficult to come by. Peet's down the street is almost always crowded, but otherwise, it's big enough, and it's Peet's and it's reliable. But Hot Shots has by far the better coffee. And their staff are very friendly, and their process is pretty efficient considering the cramped quarters. Staff remembered us each day we visited. Didn't try any of their food. But one morning, we did find a little table in front of the florist shop to enjoy the coffee. Otherwise, stay at MacArthur Place, sneak out for coffee at Hot Shots, and bring it back to your SO.
