A unit with two baths should be an option for two bed two bath owners. Dog units should match ownership options. Down sizing to a one bath because we want our dogs as part of the family seems like a punishment for us.

Room Tip: Leave a vacuum for pet owners. Makes cleanup easier for staff and more comfortable for guests.

We stayed 9 days - experienced a beautiful VIEW from our room # 213!!! Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The place was VERY clean! But if you are looking for a place with all NEW furnishings(5*)this is not the place for you. The cabinets and wall deco were outdated but again it was clean - new appliances, beds were comfortable. My daughter stayed across the street at Cedar Glenn - there room cost $100 more than ours and we had a 2 bedroom w/kitchen, they only had a one room Studio Queen. We will be back :)

The view of the lakes and its mountains are stupendous. The cabins are older but cute and comfortable. The resort is within walking distance (not across the street but within 1 or 2 miles) of many restaurants and shops. We look forward to our return visits every year!

Every little bit helps. All of the changes over the past several years have brought this resort up to a new luxury level. Lake Tahoe is a huge attraction and Tahoe Sands fills the needs and goes beyond the norm.

We enjoyed the stay there, for 1 bedroom for a week. Short drive to Boreal and Mt. Rose ski for activity, also convenient to Tahoe City and Incline Village for dining. Close to North Tahoe Regional park for recreation; Close to Safeway for easy shopping, also can walk on the meadow or beach for half day's leisure time.
