Description: AronHill Vineyards resides atop a steep limestone overlook just west of Paso Robles. Here, Judy Aron cultivates eight acres of dry-farmed Primitivo and Cabernet Sauvignon, producing small-lot wines of natural purity and structure. Here, you can experience our award-winning, dry-farmed estate wines while enjoying our hilltop vineyard views—often including eye-level sightings of our resident hawks hovering beyond the picture window. We consider the tasting room to be an extension of our home, and on any given day you might find us pouring your wine. While you are here, we invite you to join us for a bite at our adjoining AronHill Bistro.

To be honest...we came primarily for lunch. They make very good fresh sandwiches, and have a nice outdoor patio for dining. But the wine tasting while we waited for our meal was surprisingly good.

We were recommended this winery and lunch spot by our hotel, Pier View Suites in Cayucos - and boy, they did not steer us wrong! It is a lovely little cottage overlooking vineyards and other wineries right off the main wine trail. The ladies working at the front desk immediately greeted us like we were old friends and joked with us right away. The wines were delicious and so was the food. We sat outside on the protected balcony which was perfect and not too hot. I had their pesto panini and my girlfriend enjoyed their signature burger. We had such a good time that we ordered more wine and just relaxed after lunch before heading to the next tasting. Highly recommend for a great wine tour eatery!

Nice lunch spot at the tasting room overlooking vineyards on the corner of Route 46 and Vineyard Drive. Wines are quite good and feature Primitivo.

The ladies that were working the tasting room were top notch. Very talkative, and funny. They mixed in talking about wine, and about everything else. Very enjoyable tasting. Great outdoor patio to hang out and drink some wine. They also serve food, which they advertise with their sign. We probably should have ended after the tasting, but we were hungry so we ordered a bottle of Cab and a sandwich. The Cab and the food was good, but I never enjoy spending $60+ on lunch. Good experience, but probably wont go back, just because of the prices.

We stopped for luinch here one day and because it was getting late and we had dinner plans, we shared a sandwich which was delicious! The service was great, the woman who served us also worked behind the bar, was older with a wonderful sense of life! No hastle because we wanted something light or because we did not order wine. We ate outside in the patio and there was a lovely breeze and it was thoroughly enjoyable. We will return next trip.
