To be fair, Mother's Day is one of any restaurant's busiest days of the year, since Mother is usually a family's primary cook and deserves to eat out. That said, they should hire enough help to handle what they know always comes. The food is good German and other European fare: goulash, sauerbraten, curry sausage, hot German potatoes, spaetzle, sweet n sour red cabbage, assorted cold cuts, cheeses, omelets made to order, fresh fruits, carved roast beef. Champagne comes with the meal. Desserts are only cake, and no sugar free. Noodles in sumptuous gravy with mushrooms a la stroganoff. At this price range, there are usually more choices in every category, but German is a specialty here. Our water and coffee came soon, but champagne wasn't served until we asked for it, nearly 1/2 hour later, albeit cheerfully and apologetically. The servers they had were good; they just needed more of them at 11:30AM, right in the middle of their brunch hours. We will return.
