Room was OK. Location for our Old Sacramento visit was excellent. Bring your own breakfast items. The motel has "pre-packaged" things in the lobby and no dining area. We ate out both mornings. Subway is within walking distance and had a very good breakfast.

First called to reserve room. Asked what time check out was. Was told 12pm. It was actually 11am and got a knock on the door and a call from the office. Luckily was already leaving anyway.
Things that made me rate this as poor:
Hotel only provided shampoo and a tiny bar of soap.
Each person only had one towel for shower. Had a shower before bed, then in the morning, showered and towels that were hung to dry were still damp.
No hot water in the morning for shower. Lukewarm at best with faucet turned all the way to hot. Brrrr!
Breakfast is a joke. Only had coffee (powder creamer only), toast (no butter, only jam), and danishes. Fruit was only oranges and mandarines that looked like they were about a week old and about to go bad.
Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Beds have hollow metal bases so they make a lot of noise! A LOT of noise!
Only thing I loved about this room, the lighted mirror! I want one in my house! Great for putting on make up!

Room Tip: Spend a little more and get a nicer hotel with better amenities.

Room was clean but requested king bed and only have queens. Staff not friendly at all and seemed irritated we asked for help. Glad we stayed only stayed one night. Parking is very tight and other guests would need to park behind cars. Had two rooms and each room smelled. Won't stay here again.

Carpet needed cleaning, bedding was stained. Wife & Mother felt the whole place needs a good cleaning. Trouble twice with the room key. (had to go to desk) Positives were it had a refrigerator, microwave, an coffee maker. Samsung T.V. worked well, although Ice maker was out of service. Staff was cordial.

Room Tip: Some construction was going on near-by, started pretty early.

Great Location near good restaurants and Old Town Sacramento. Vince's Motel & Restaurant on Harbor Blvd is a classic old-school Italian joint. Full bar & killer cannelloni. IKEA is nearby as is Jamie's prime rib bar/restaurant is a mile or so away on Broadway.
