Convenient location. Whole property needs upgrade especially the hot tub and fitness area. No extras. Just coffee in the morning. No snacks. No hot chocolate or cookies in the afternoon. Considering we paid over $500 was not good value
Thank you for submitting your response and the suggestions you made. These are definitely a wonderful enhancement idea that we will implement. Please come back to see how they are working out.

Staff and accommodations were fantastic! Great proximity to many amazing restaurants and skiing, definitely plan to return soon. Excited to bring the entire family and explore the entire area together
Dennis,
Thanks for the review! Please come back soon for another ski getaway.

I had high hopes for this hotel - a great welcome when we arrived and a lovely touch of a signed card and chocs for our engagement celebrations.
Unfortunately, a couple of big fails.
The 'spa' steam and sauna were cold to the point that sitting in them meant cold water dripping on us. When we complained, and asked they be sorted next day, nothing was improved. While you can turn a timer switch this proved to be quite ineffective. We booked this place especially with a few of using said facilities post ski slopes.
Also the room is quite tired. It needs some updating.
And don't send poor cleaners to knock on doors before 9am on a Sunday morning.
What really bothers me is that I asked several times for the hotel manager or someone to contact me about all this, but nobody did- and when I left, I asked again that a 'gesture' would have been nice. Nothing.
The photos also give the impression there is a lounge area - there is not - only reception seats.
Also the blinds in the room looking into the hotel are not that effective - concerning to see after leaving the room that anyone outside could have potentially seen in to the 'lounge' area.
Given all this, very disappointing, considering the money we spent.
Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. The "misses" you mentioned are definitely not common practice for the team or the property and we are making sure these have been solved. I do apologize about not getting back to you sooner. Please let me know if there is any thing that I can assist with.

This is an all-suites place next to the Vilar Arts Center and convenient to everything in BC Village. One can walk to shopping, restaurants, and the base of the Centennial lift, which is one's major conveyance up on to the mountain. The staff is very polite and accommodating. The front desk always answers on the first ring, and there seems to be a good concierge present during waking hours. The rooms have gas fireplaces and mini-kitchens. My only complaints--no self-parking, with valet parking being 36 dollars a day--more than I paid for the rental car. An annoying, cloying scent of cookie dough in the hallways--apparently wafting in from one of the shops in the building.
I investigated overnight parking both in BC village and down in Avon. So far as I can tell, there IS none except at hotels. I was directed to the BC security about parking overnight in the ski lots down along highway 6, and told that they only allow parking overnight when the hotel lots are full. The $36 parking rate is not peculiar to BC Lodge,
We appreciate your response and appreciate the kind words. Yes, parking can be a bit of a challenge and we do our best to utilze the real estate we have to accommodate all the guests who vist Beaver Creek. The only suggestion I have if you don't need a car is to utilize one of the shuttle services if that fits your trip plans. Let us know when planning your next trip and we can see if there are any other options that may be available.
Beaver Creek Lodge is beautiful, well maintained and the location couldn't be better. It's situated right at the bottom of the mountain, a very short walk away from the escalator that takes you to the main ski lift. If you're renting equipment, I highly recommend that you go to Christie's, right in the hotel. It's reasonably priced, they know what they're doing and the equipment is excellent (reserve online ahead of time for a discount). I've been coming here for years and will continue to come back. My go-to room is 103--perfectly situated one flight up, so it's convenient to get the excellent free coffee they offer in the lobby every morning, and one flight down from Christie's, where the hotel provides free ski storage. It has a spacious bedroom (king bed) and connects to the room next door--perfect if you're traveling with a larger group.
Thank you! You are a pro and know the property and mountain well. Come back and see us soon.
