Stayed here in February 2022, booked as part of a package with flights with British Airways, as we are from the United Kingdom. The room was paid for upfront.

I wont add any further comments on the stay except to say it was as dire as others have said.

On checkout it was confirmed we owed nothing, our room having been paid for in advance as part of the package. Due to the 10 night stay being totally underwhelming, we negotiated the return of one nights stay as recompense - needless to say this has never turned up...

Fast forward to July 2022, and when my wife received her credit card bill at the end of July, we had a nasty shock - some $2800 had been billed to her card with no explanation.

We have subsequently been trying to contact Hilton customer services to get an explanation for this and of course to have this fraudulent charge removed, however this is not easy outside of the USA. So far we have hit several obstacles, the main one being 'customer services' keep telling us they cant do anything and we need to contact the hotel direct.

Unbelievably, this is the second occasion this hotel has done this ( we were successful in getting this deleted from our credit card account, but no word of apology ever).

We shall not be staying here ever again.

We travel to Breckenridge at least if not twice a year and have stayed at this Hotel a handful of times before. We will never, again, stay here. The carpets are dirtier than outside. The front desk staff is dressed more casually than the guests. The bed was as hard as the mountain rocks. The hotel restaurant menu was overpriced. The elevator situation, two separate elevators to get to our room. Then when we had to leave at 8:30 pm for a family emergency, we were not credit anything towards our room. Our elderly mother being admitted to the hospital in Denver was compared to a skier falling and breaking their leg. 52 years born and raised in this State ~ I am beyond disgusted.
