We spent a week at Mountain Thunder Lodge. The Lodge is very convenient to downtown Breckenridge--a 2 block walk or ride the shuttle for free. The condos are spacious with mountain views and lovely balcony. Underground parking is a plus as is the elevator. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. With the gondolas right across the street (underground access crossing under the street), there are so many things to do. It was relaxing and enjoyable. Would love to visit again.

Room Tip: The higher the floor the better the view.

June was just the last of several stays at Mountain Thunder Lodge. The accommodations are always beautiful, the staff are accommodating, and the location cannot be beat. It is a short block to the middle of town and the gondola during ski season is across the street. Better yet call the private shuttle available to guests, which arrives about 60 seconds later, and take it to Peak 9. For high end lodging, location and convenience Mountain Thunder can't be beat.

Great location, walk into town for restaurants and shopping. Stunning views of the mountains and wonderful service. Perfect for couples or families. Heated pool and hot tub. Shuttle service to many amenities in town, so you can easily leave the car at the hotel.

We loved staying at MTL. The location is perfect and the property is very clean. We stayed in a 2br/2ba unit and it was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. Shuttle service was available at any time but you could really walk anywhere. There was a tunnel that took you directly to the gondola and this is totally walk-able even in your ski boots. The staff and service we received during our stay was very good and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation! I strongly recommend staying at this property!

Highly recommended; we will return! The balcony offered a beautiful view of the mountains. A nice start to each day! We rented a 3 bedroom suite at Mountain Thunder Lodge and were very happy with the accommodations. This location is directly across the street from the gondola and transportation is provided. You can also walk to both the gondola and Main Street from this location. The room was beautiful with a fully stocked kitchen, nicely furnished living and dining room and three spacious bedrooms, 2 with adjoining bathrooms, and one with a bathroom directly across the hall (common bathroom). The bathroom amenities were Bee Kind brand and they were very nice. Starbucks coffee is provided in the room, which is also a nice touch. There is access to a jacuzzi and a pool, as well as work out facilities and a bowling alley. Lockers are provided on the main floor to keep your ski gear, making it convenient to grab and go. Inside parking is also provided. There are laundry facilities on each floor, but our suite had its own washer/dryer unit as well.
