We were debating on a place to eat after running errands in North Denver. We couldn't decide on something in that area, so we kept driving towards home outside of Brighton. Since both my sweetheart and I couldn't choose from the places we'd been previously, we decided to try somewhere that neither of us had been before. Both of us thought a Chinese buffet sounded good, so we pulled into the street parking lot, and headed inside. At first, I was skeptical because there weren't many people there. We were seated and served our drinks by a sweet young lady with a heavy accent. Since we couldn't really understand what she said, we both got up and looked the buffet over before deciding on our course of action. My sweetie decided on the prepared hot food at the buffet, and I decided to pile my plate with fresh-cut meat and veggies that were on a separate buffet counter (I wanted to choose my own items to be prepared "Mongolian" style by the chef.) Before I chose my plate full of raw food, I did have to find our waitress to ask her about how the system worked. She went back to the kitchen to find the chef while I perused the raw items on the buffet. While the chef cooked my food on the griddle, I picked up another plate and chose a few items from the prepared food buffet. I snacked on the crab rangoon while I waited--which was delicious! My sweetie was already eating by the time I returned to the table. My food was cooked just right---and delicious! I snitched a piece of sweet and sour chicken off my honey's plate, and that was tasty, too. We enjoyed the food, for sure; the atmosphere is nice too---it's not loud or obnoxious. The employees treated us very politely and they were nice (just a bit difficult to understand.) The price for the buffet is pretty reasonable for all they have to offer. The dessert bar wasn't as appealing for me, though, I must admit. So I had a tiny portion of sweet stuff and a piece of pizza. Yes, they even had American AND Mexican food on the buffet! If you can't find anything to eat at this buffet, then you're probably not hungry. It's nice to know there are some great "Mom and Pop" restaurant choices even in little Brighton, Colorado! We're glad we found a new favorite!
