I'm not an aviation enthusiast but this museum is very well done. It has planes from WWII, static displays with photos, uniforms, memorabilia, as well as several flight simulators, one of which you can use. It has a hanger where they restore airplanes that you have access to. Well worth the visit if in Colorado Springs.

Excellent Colorado Springs destination for any age family. Our docent Walt was amazing and really brought the history to life explaining the importance of so many details and highlighting events and personalities not just the airplanes themselves although he knew plenty abut them as well. We were amazed that so many of the airplanes are still flying snd the behind the scenes part of our tour showcasing the refurbishment activities were interesting and informative.

Exceeded my expectations! So much history, rare aircraft, extremely knowledgeable staff with lots of personal stories. The tour is worth the extra $5!

I have brought many out of town friends to the museum and all of them leave in awe of the aircraft, displays and knowledgeable docents. Highly recommend anyone interested in WW II or aircraft to go to this museum.
