We had a delicious meal at Summit. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and the wines and they were accommodating to my food allergies.

The Summit is chic, modern, beautiful and outside the massive Broadmoor main buildings, but still part of the complex. The decor is new and upscale - a definite departure from the rest of The Broadmoor restaurants.
Service and food at Summit meet expectations for a Broadmoor facility. EVERY aspect is top-tier.
Reservations are a must for a table, but you can possibly slip in by sitting at the bar and ordering from the menu. My wife and I were able to go the bar and had an outstanding meal.
Beet salad and Caesar salad were superb. The entrees blew us away. Angry trout was delicious and the pork chop was grilled to perfection.
And then we had desserts. Profiteroles were perfection - three different ice creams on delicate pastries with chocolate sauce - equal to the best we've ever had. But the very best was peach beignets - perfect beignets with a peach slice buried in the middle and a cup of bourbon whipped cream - it was a killer!

We really enjoyed our meal here. Service was very good and the menu was creative and the dishes were all very good. But this place isn't cheap and when you pay $40 for a "rack of lamb" you expect more than two lamb chops. I've never had a smaller dish and at this price you expect to get an adult portion.

This restaurant has a strange take on French cuisine. It is definitely more American than French. How can you claim to be french without serving Bouillabaisse or le'roucheite coued'ue? None of the waiters spoke french or pronounced any of the dishes correctly. The male waiter was snooty. The female one was very friendly.

This was our last night on a spectacular 4 day luxury, family time together and a most fitting one at that. The food was incredible and the choices made it really difficult to decide -- though three of us ended up with a rack of lamb that was cooked to perfection and so delicious. The resort with all its eating choices is beyond amazing and this was a perfect place to have our final celebratory dinner.
