Was a wonderful meal and experience. The menu has a nice range of items to meet your interest and hunger-level as the time The oysters were very fresh and loved that they had multiple options from both the east and the west coast. The roasted sunchoke salad was truly a unique and wonderful experience. The Dover Sole was perfectly prepared to highlight the delicate flavor of the fish. The service was fancy but not fussy. I spilled a drink and not only did they not make me feel bad about it, they didn't charge and refilled without asking?!?! Nice range of dessert options, I had the salted caramel creme brulee, was great, but the brown sugar cookie decorated with all sorts of goodies was even better. My second visit and hope the third comes sooner rather than later.

Angry trout is all you need to know, I have only ordered this when I go along with the muscles for appetizer and creme brulee. I can't make myself order anything else because it's so good. The best trout I have ever had. You wouldn't think that pork belly goes with trout but wow...it's amazing and the presentation is really cool.

Of all the restaurants we visited during a recent stay at The Broadmoor, this was the only one that disappointed. Service was lackluster—certainly not up to the usual high standards at this resort. Our waitress was very disinterested, food was bland, small portions and one dish was not cooked properly (you shouldn’t need to use a steak knife on a cooked artichoke heart.). Try one of the other lovely restaurants on the property instead.

This may be the most innovative restaurant on the Broadmoor property, if not in all of Colorado Springs. Food is fresh, well prepared and sophisticated. We enjoyed the Philips Salad, angry trout, veal cheeks and a profiterole for dessert. I was served a flat Jura Rose which was immediately replaced with apologies ( I will never understand a bartender who does this). Our server was cordial and professional but overall service would be enhanced with the old fashioned addition of bus staff to clear plates.

Very cool atmosphere - coming from an architect. Different rooms with different feel, wine rack centered behind bar is rotating behind curtainwall glass. Didn't go into the main dining room, but the areas around the bar had a cool feel, one room felt like a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired room, with the end room being a greenhouse. Only had drinks, but the selection was good.
