Awesome history to this place! We stayed in the old "operating room" and normally I'd be scared but learning the history was really neat! Perfect place to stay especially if you just need somewhere nice to sleep at night while you're enjoying Colorado during the day! Super nice friendly staff and very clean rooms! If we ever come to this area we will be staying here again!

Beautifully decorated rooms in an old hospital. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Since it is located several blocks from the casino area, it was quiet. We even saw deer grazing on the hillside just outside our window. A nice continental breakfast was served the next morning. Would definitely recommend.

Well kept place, all kinds of antiques. Hard to believe that it used to be a hospital. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. It was a great stay! The hotel is a little ways from the gaming areas, so it was not only beautiful, but quiet and peaceful.

Teller County Hospitality House is rich with history, charm, elegance, and nostalgia. The moment you walk in you are welcomed by the beauty and charm of this Grand Victorian Mansion! Formerly the Teller County Hospital built in 1902, it is now a One of a Kind Hotel! If you're looking for a place to relax, this is the place for you! What a peaceful, beautiful place!

A 1901 Hospital converted into a hotel. The whole place blew us away when we got there and the room was even more amazing. Decorated with old world charm and with all the joys of staying in various wards and/or consulting rooms. This was one of those unexpected delights after so many same/same hotels on our road trip. The staff were friendly and very helpful but they could have been awful and the accommodation would have made up for it.
I normally work in outpatients so it was kinda fun to actually sleep in outpatients too :-)

Room tip: Choose your specialty - the rooms are all very different, we had outpatients which was huge. Check the website for different options.
