We didn't want to drive over Wolf Creek after a late high school football game. Should have camped in a tent! In business since 1989, yeah right maybe 1889. This place is disgusting!!! The maid must not have cleaned the room. There were wet towels in the bathtub from a previous visitor. The fire hazard heater popped all night as it went on and off. I was afraid we were going to bring home bedbugs! Tried to ring bell for service before 10 pm to tell them we were leaving because of dirty room, but they wouldnt answer bell. Very bad customer service! It was over $90 for this filth! No parking! Had to park out on highway. Was afraid vehicle would be stolen by morning. Very bad crowd lives in the hotel rooms.

Room Tip: Bring a tent you would be happier!

Whatever you do don't stay here. Room had no air just a small fan. Cost was over 70 bucks should have saved the money and slept in my truck. Everything in the room was painted blue guess if you like blue it would be ok. Bed was ok not that great but not to bad. Don't stay here ever.

Wolf Creek pass was closed and all rooms in South Fork were booked. I found this place on the web. While closer to Wolf Creek than Alamosa, the extra drive to Alamosa is well worth your while. The room was spartan, the beds were poor, and the bathroom was in terrible shape. There was no hot water and the room heater was a fire waiting to happen. I think this place only gets visitors when the pass is closed. The rate was more than what we paid the night before in South Fork ($63 at the Ute Lodge; $73 at this establishment). I've stayed in hotels on 6 continents and this was the worst.
