This is mainly a sports bar, BUT the menu is definitely unique. Czech/Eastern European food that's authentic and to die for. The sauerkraut soup is the best. When I need a German food fix, this is my go to place.

Was looking for a good sports bar to watch the US vs Canada during the most recent world competition and found Sobo 151 in a funky neighborhood. It's a Hockey Central place with delightful Czech beer and food. After starting out with a mug of Pilsner Urquell, I ordered the chopped salad, and the traditional Kuře na Paprice, known to we English-speakers as Chicken Paprika. It's chicken thighs in a rich, creamy sauce. You soak up the sauce with the most, Czech bread dumplings. Staff was friendly and helpful. And the guys watching the game next to me were a hoot. Total bill - $31. It's just too bad the U.S. team didn't play anywhere as well a the food and beer tasted.

Interesting menu. The prices seemed reasonable, but the portions are small. My chicken sandwich was more like a half sandwich with bug onion rings. The chicken paprika had a few pieces of chicken and a side of dumplings. It's more like an appetizer. There is only one waitress for a large room of 15 tables eating lunch and watching hockey. She was fast, but there are a lot of people eating for her attention.

If you like eating in a bar/poolroom where the next generation hangs out, this is the perfect place. Very Euro, from the great beer selection to the Czech menu, this is where to come for a nice meal that won't break the bank. We like the saurkraut soup, the schnitzel, the fish is always good, and the apple strudel is excellent! Always ask what the nightly special is. Last night it was duck liver dumpling soup and corn beef and cabbage! We hear it gets pretty rowdy surting big sports games but who cares? Parking in the back is a plus.

As a visitors from Czech republic we wanted to taste some Czech food during our travels. We found this place and decided to give it a chance. The place is more like a bar or even sports bar but that doesnt mean that you cannot get great food. Quite the opposite - food is absolutely delicious and its hard to get such a good czech specialities even in Czech republic. Also great offer of beers and nice stuff makes it great experience. Can only recommend this place.
