For this area, this motel is reasonably priced ($172 for two-bed suite). The room was huge with an entrance way (for skis?), living room area, bedroom area. and smallish bath. Having two beds was great because the one closest to the bath sagged in the middle. The other was a bit soft for my taste but at least it didn't sag. The desk chair was stained, the threshold to the bath broken and torn--watch your step lest you stub your toe. There must be a better place.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. We would like to thank the manager, James, for working with us to change and extend our days of stay. Our room was very clean. There was no service during our stay, yet we could request any items needed. Staff was always pleasant. The breakfast area was daily stocked with hot and cold items, fruit, cereals, eggs, ham/sausage, breads, and choice of beverages. Amenities include indoor pool, laundry room, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, deck with chairs, exercise room, plus all day coffee/tea in lobby. The location was terrific with a beautiful view of the mountains. We had a Walgreens next door, a City Market for groceries and a delicious upscale restaurant called Bistro North up the block. Other fast food options within a block. Thank you!

Stayed here during ski season - skied Keystone the next morning - this was a good jumping off point for that. It's the kind of hotel that families and groups stay at so expect lines to check in, lines to get food, lines for the elevator. Rooms are spacious but the bathrooms are dated. HVAC is thru a unit by the window so whomever sleeps near there is going to face the brunt of it. Parking is outdoors so if you are arriving in the winter, prep your vehicle accordingly. Breakfast is included but it's a small and crowded dining area and (though they do have a waffle machine). Given the clientele, expect noise at night. The elevator is not the biggest - so in covid times, you may need to wait a few turns. Lots of restaurants nearby and good access to the highway. Overall, great for 1 night as a stopover.

My son and I stayed here while snowboarding at Copper Mountain. It is in a great location by restaurants and grocery store. The people next door to us were noisy with tv going until late, also a garbage truck came super early around 4am beeping. Our room was comfortable and the bed was comfy as well.

Room tip: We chose top floor away from highway

I do as the sign tells me:
Ring the bell – no one
I start to call and then I see someone walk in from OUTSIDE the hotel. I was thinking another guest was coming in too. Turns out it was the desk clerk.
The desk clerk was outside smoking a cigarette. Okay everyone deserves a break….
I receive first room, I tried some idle chit chat about what a long day it was and asked if both rooms were on same floor. He didn’t know I had two rooms. They were NOT on the same floor – oh well
• Went to second floor room (my teenagers were on first floor). Upon arrival the keys did not work! UGH went downstairs to get new keys and guess what is at the desk
The infamous sign is at the desk again.
I yelled HELLO (nothing) I went outside to interrupt the desk clerk from his cigarette.
He went to re-key the keys but I asked for better ones as I could see all of the scratch marks on the key cards. Got to room and latch was on. SOMEONE WAS ALREADY IN THE ROOM! I can’t recall the room number at this time as I turned the sleeve back in.

• This time the clerk was at the desk he gave me keys to a different room this time on the third floor room, 312. We cannot open the door! My husband went down and got the desk clerk he came up and lifted the handle and was able to open the door however, there was a person in this room too! This is about 1:15 in the morning the lady came to the door and honestly I got the best apology from another guest who I breached her security then I did from the hotel. She continued to explain they too had checked in the night before but their heater did not work and they transferred room and when they transferred rooms they also had guest in the room when they went in! OMG this poor lady!
• We all went back down stairs
• I HAD to be the one to ask the desk clerk to check the next room to make sure it is okay and I didn’t care WHAT kind of room it was a long as no one was in it before we go to the room. We ended up on the first floor where my teenagers were and I was told by him there was not room on the same floor for us to be together. How Frustrating.
• Next morning 8:30AM Housekeeping is knocking on the door (seriously?) How about reviewing your actual check out rooms first before knocking on doors
• Went to breakfast (breakfast as somewhat expected) had 2 employees working the room. Eggs were watery but they come out of those frozen bags. Although, when I went to get a bagel I though was a blueberry bagel it was actually mold! I gave it to the male breakfast attendant and he exclaims “moldy bagel” and chucks it in the trash – no apologies no thank you’s, etc.
• I went to ask to speak to a manager at the desk about 9:30AM on a busy Saturday morning and I’m greeted with the sign and the bell. I was very calm asked to speak to a manager about checking into all of the occupied rooms the night before and all he could tell me is the manager will be in on Monday. I also asked what do gold members receive and he said either a snack or points (I was offered neither) I will say 4 water bottles would have made me very happy (not a lot to ask right??) He then told me it was only allowed one bottle per room, I said great I will take 2 bottles he comes out with one bottle and said he only had one bottle. I then asked for the manager’s email which he provided to me and I left.

Yet as a savvy traveler these are all the things that bothered ME as a guest when in all honesty why hasn’t this bothered the staff?
• The people I interrupted in the middle of the night were they compensated? Were they apologized too? Their safety was compromised by me walking in. I am so thankful that the GUEST were trained to lock their door.
• Did anyone think to re-code the key cards for the people whose room that I entered into as when they go to breakfast their key will not work when they go back to their room. (slide a note under the door with apology and letting them know
• Someone is transferring rooms and clearly are not trained on how to transfer from one room to the next room
• The lady who was in room 312 shares the story she too walked in someone else and moved from heater room prior day but yet we walk in on them. This means housekeeping is not checking Vacant and clean rooms every morning. If housekeeping had checked vacant and clean report that morning room 312 would have clothing in it and they could have tried to figure out who was in that room.
• If anyone had called in through the phone lines to try and find said person who occupied the 2 rooms they would not have rang the correct room as they were in another room.
• Employees do not look like employees – no uniforms, no name tags, no standards at check in he had a flannel on – at check-out he had a white hoodie on. No apologies. My best experience was with the BELL because the bell works if you rang it.
• Did anyone log these complaints for follow-up
• Why didn’t someone pass along my information for follow-up?
