We arrived at the Canyon Motel in Hot Sulphur Springs after a Beautiful trip over the Trail Ridge Road.
The Hotel was ok and clean. The beds were comfortable.
We did expect a typical "remote" US motel; that's what we got. It was totally ok to stay for one night, but not for one week. We stayed in room #3, were we had an excellent shower.
Even the Hotel is just at the street, we had a quiet night as not much traffice passes during night.

Room tip: Even if we had a quiet night, is probably better to have a room in distance of the street

While out camping this fall, we came across Canyon Motel offering $10 hot showers to all the campers/hunters in the area. The shower offered was clean and the water was hot! They even had towels and toiletries if you didn’t have them! What a great deal!!!

My family of six (ages 3-80) stayed one night in the Canyon Motel. The two rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hostess was very nice and helpful. We appreciated the kitchenette and eating space to warm dinner and have dishes for all to eat breakfast. When in Hot Sulphur Springs, we will definitely stay here again.

This was a cute and fun adventure for my husband and I. We stayed in a great little Hunter's Cabin. Beds were comfy and the room was very clean. It came with everything anyone would need for a great night's rest. Quiet? Yes! The Motel's manager/owner was very helpful in making recommendations of things to do and see. There are very few places to eat in town. If you are in town for breakfast, the "Glory Hole" down the road is a great place for eggs and coffee. Thsi was a wonderful overnight stop.

If you want new and modern, this isn't the place for you. This is an older facility but our room was nicely appointed and recently updated. The room itself was very comfortable and the staff very pleasant and helpful. The parking lot is small so the cars park right in front of the rooms which can be noisy in the morning if you are wanting to sleep in. Also, no breakfast and no pool but restaurants are close by.

Room tip: Compare choices carefully because each room is lightly different and provides different amenities, ie, kitchenette versus fridge/microwave.
