When the ladies booked us in a motel rated by tripadvisor I wasn't sure.

Well the motel rooms are nicely remodeled and the beds are excellent for sleeping. The breakfast is your typical motel breakfast but in a nice new cheery room.

The pool look new with green grass around it. We just were thrilled and enjoyed looking up at Pikes Peak from the outside deck chairs

We made a last minute decision to stay the night in the Colorado Springs area because we were having so much fun. We called several places and were really surprised that everything was right around 100 bucks or more. Silver Saddle was only about 80 bucks, and since we just needed a place to lay our heads, we grabbed it. I was expecting a roadside motel, and instead I got a really nice, newly renovated and clean rooms and a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was just perfect, with waffles and fruit and pastries, cereal and toast. I would for sure stay here again. Great value for less than what others in the area were charging.

We have just come back from Colorado and i wanted to stay in a motel the type you see in the old movies. Well this one didn't disappoint me. The manager Arthur and his fiance are so lovely and helpful.. They took over the motel last year and are doing all the rooms up. They only rent out the ones that have been done up already. I loved the neon sign outside and it has the best view of the 'Garden of the Gods', right from your balcony!! The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and you can park right outside your room just like the movies. There was a complimentry breakfast of tea, coffee and pastrys. If you go in April be warned that all the local restaurants shut at 9pm. Brilliant stay thank you Arthur if we are out that way again we will definitely stay with you again.

My wife and two sons were on vacation in Manitou Springs in June 2010 with my father along for the ride. We were staying at another motel that was usually nice for use, however this time the air conditioners were not efficient enough for the rooms and it would get easily into the high 80s during the day. We tried to correct the problem but nothing was adequate enough and we decided for the price we were paying we deserved better. So my father set off on a trip to find another place and found the gem of "SILVER SADDLE INN" they agreed to take us on short notice and for the same price as the other motel. The young couple running the establishment were fantastic and we even had several leisurely conversations with them. Very clean, decently priced, wonderful beds and GREAT location. They even let our dog stay for free! We shall be returning!
