This historic hotel was a wonderful experience. Probably one of the best hotel experiences I've had. Renee was so welcoming - felt like I was staying with family. Loved all the attention to detail. Staying here will definitely be a tradition.

Very unique setup here. We visited on a slow night and they were very gracious and upgraded up from shared bathroom to a private one. Long stairway up and may be a tad difficult for some folks, but it is WELL WORTH IT! Thanks Dave and Renee for a very comfortable and very well decorated room. Would recommend to anyone visiting Silverton to stay at the Teller House!

Each room was unique decorated with antiques, beautifully furnished. Renee & Mike were very welcoming, made us feel very comfortable. Share with us information about things to see and do in Silverton and surrounding areas. Silverton was a lovely town, we can't wait to return to Teller House and Silverton.
Thank you Teller House.

Lovely house, each room is unique, hosts are very nice and supportive, and their slogan "Make yourself at home" maths perfect. The town itself is during the winter season extremely quiet. I have been there to ski Silverton Mountain and not for the nightlife :-)

No big city amminities here. That is what makes this place so fantastic! The building is beautiful with a very old-timey feel. A narrow, steep staircase leads you to the second floor. Plenty of signage to indicate where to find the check-in desk. We arrived around 6pm. There was no one at the desk, but a sign told us what room we were in. The door was open and keys were on the nightstand. A bit out of the norm for those expecting to be greeted when they walk into a place. The room was very clean, with two queen beds and fresh towls with robes. The most unexpected thing was a lack of t.v. which just added to the allure of the place. Dont expect central heat or air here. The heat was plently to keep us nice and toasty on a very cold January night. Some rooms do have their own private bath, and some do not. Ours did not have one. I thought this was charming. What a great way to meet and mingle with others in the hotel. Coffee and tea are provided as well. Breakfast was not included, but we found a place a short walking distance down the road that was wonderful. On the first floor of the hotel, there is a mexican restaurant that is delicous! They allow you to take your food and DRINKS up to your room. The windows in the room did not have think curtins, so if light bothers you i would suggest a different location. The beds were very comfortable, with plenty of pillows and blankets. The walls are a bit thin, so some conversations could be overheard. Wifi is free in this hotel and the signel is strong. But who needs internet and tv when your in a winter paradise. I was a bit dissapointed with the lack of stores open, but that is to be expected this time of year. This hotel is loated right in the middle of town, so everything is within walking distance. Overall i would highly recommend this hotel! We will be back!

Room Tip: We enjoyed room number 6.
