Stopped at Brewport to try their IPAs and to have some pizza. This was our first visit and have read mixed reviews. The inside of Brewport was very well done preserving some of the old relics of its former newspaper days. We are IPA drinkers so we sampled Seventh Inning and the Old News. Both were good, but no major WOW factor. We had their caesar salad and their tree hugger speciality pizza. Both were very average. With all the great pizza around the New Haven area their thin crust just could not compete nor their sauce. Waitstaff great. Glad we experienced The Brewport , but it was definitely not a home run!
