This is a most convenient place to stay for fishermen.
To start with it's perfectly situated just a few minutes driving from the Housatonic River.
The rooms are very comfortable with king size beds, very clean, with all necessary amenities available, including wifi with a a good and powerful signal.
Besides the tenants are quite nice, and friendly.
Definitely to be recommended.

We needed a place to sleep while visiting for my mother's funeral because my husband is handicapped and couldn't make the stairs at any of my relatives '. The only reason it even got one star was because the bed was actually not that bad.

What a dump! We had to drive back to my brother's to borrow an orange cord to plug in his breathing machine because there was only one outlet all the way across the room. Not only that, but we had reserved a king bed, and the first key they gave us didn't work. So the manager jimmies the window to open the door!! It was a room with a twin and double bed that reeked of cigarettes. They finally gave us the king room. Did I feel safe?!?

The Hotel was a reasonable price for the area.. very clean and newly painted etc. .linens were clean and new.. very small bathroom. .would stay there again. The owner was helpful in directing us to a good local breakfast place in the morning.

Room Tip: not a big motel.. our room had a light shining in from the parking lot all night.. room 9

This is a basic no frills travelers lodging with a nice hotel owner. The room was small, clean and as advertised. The room cost, ~$100 was high for what was provided, but that is due to a lack of competition in the area as there are only a few other places to stay and they range from $170 - $400.

This is a great hotel if you are an Appalachian Trail hiker, it is 1 mile (down hill) from the trail and is next to a general store.

Nice motel with basic accommodation which have microwaves and even a refrigerator in rooms. Very clean and well run. The owners are nice and friendly and the location can't be beat. Rates are reasonable and it is always a nice getaway. Spend your money on the experiences and outdoor fun and great restaurants in and around the area because you don't have to pay a lot for a clean and comfortable place to stay. Have been coming here for years and they've made many improvements over the years. Can easily drive to the Berkshires or the many lakes in the area or even fishing on the Housatonic River.
