I have to say that it’s not wonderful, but a pretty good stay. Just a few minor things and this hotel could be just excellent. We stayed for a convention held at the Connecticut Convention Center for a whole weekend. In a nutshell, this was my overall experience.
The pros:
• Rooms are modern and recently renovated.
• The beds are comfortable, and have a pretty good size.
• The TV’s are modern, and they even have Netflix, Hulu and even Pandora.
• Conveniently located to the Connecticut Convention Center (attached), that you don’t even need to get out of the hotel.
• Clean and updated, with a very nice modern look.
The Cons:
• Lack of food venues. For the size of this hotel, they only have one restaurant (technically two) and one Starbucks, that the lines are endless especially in rush hours.
• The fridges in the rooms are SUPER SMALL, with a safe located right on top of them.
• Although some of the staff is surprisingly nice (Like Joe on the front desk), some others seem to be bother by the amount of people staying at the hotel. Just an observation.
• Parking is not free and it comes with a prize of $19 p/day.
Overall, pretty good experience. Could be better. In a nutshell, if I was going to the Connecticut Convention Center, or the downtown Hartford area, I will definitely stay there again.More
