This is an intimate neighborhood coffee place with a pleasant staff and remarkably uncomfortable seats. It is $4 for a cup of coffee, but you will not be disappointed. Most denizens of the Nutmeg State enjoy bland, fairly uncaffeinated coffee -- the kind one finds at the ubiquitous Dunkin Donuts. The coffee I had at The Coffee Pedaler, however, was the smoothest, most powerful cup of coffee I ever consumed at a business establishment anywhere in Connecticut. It's not what I make at home, but it comes pretty close, and I find that impressive. If you need a good cup of coffee go here ... you will not be disappointed.
