Been there many times for the fired clams and other things for the kids. Sometimes the clams are over done. The rest of the menu is pretty standard for a hot dog stand and ok for a real beachy lunch experience. I can't say anything special about it except it is one of few clam shacks left.

Third time here but will be our last for awhile. Apparently we came just before closing but our order was taken. Our food arrived in a timely manner. We were in the dining area for about 7 minutes and they started stacking the chairs all around us( tables on either side of ours). The time was maybe 8:45 pm on a Sunday; not sure when they are suppose to close...

Three other groups of people saw this and stopped mid meal to leave. One man next to us was visibly angry. The stacking girl was pretty clueless about how her actions were effecting the customers.

Food was good. Seafood platter was $31.00 and would have been great if we were given time to eat it. They should have not taken our order because our experience was ruined by being rushed out in such a passive aggressive way.

4 stars for food
2 stars for ambiance

Haven’t been here for a while and thought I would try again. They have fixed up the property nicely but the food prices are a little high for a hotdog or hamburger. Still worth the trip

One of the good items has all ways been the French fries.the nice big steak fries.i stopped in the other day and they changed to a thinner fry.someplace between McDonald's and the old steak fries. Hopefully this isn't a permanent change

Wanted to like this place more- looks so right
Lobster roll was generously filled - but it was $20
The Rhode Island clam chowder was watery and mostly potatoes
Like a previous reviewer- where are the clams?
Probably would explore other seafood shacks before returning here
