Stayed for a short overnight to break up a long road trip. We had reserved two rooms. When the bellman opened the door to the 1st room a rush of hot air came out. The room felt like 100 degrees and the bellman could not get the thermostat to work. We all went into the 2nd room while the bellmen went downstairs to get us another room. I washed my hands while we were waiting and noticed that the the sink was dirty and the drain was backed up. We eventually(~20m later) were able to get two other rooms. The rooms that we finally took had peeling wallpaper with water stains in the bathroom but otherwise they were okay. We were disappointed with the breakfast buffet, the food was not refreshed the way that buffets should be. The back of the chair in the dining room came apart. I believe that the restaurant that we ate in was temporary as they were doing construction on the restaurant in the lobby(and the front desk). On the positive side, the staff was professional, they look like they are working to improve the hotel, they are dog friendly and there is a large lawn to walk your dog around outside.
Here is our report card:
A- convenience to I-95, General cleanliness of the property/grounds, dog friendly
B - professionalism of staff, not expensive
D - room maintenance, breakfast buffet
