Whilst the Maldives is unsurprisingly expensive it is made up for by the levels of quality, especially food and service. I had a special birthday whilst there and they really surprised me with a couple of treats that were really pleasing. 11/10 for that!
The bikes to get around the villas is an excellent aspect but we did have difficulty finding an appropriate size for my wife.
Complementary Snorkelling equipment is available and again the staff were fantastically helpful. The water area , which I believe is a concession, was good with kayaks available free but my major issue here was the cost of the jet skis - £150 ( no misprint) for 20 MINUTES is unacceptable- I did not see them being used much!!
Such was the level of service it was difficult to pick anyone out for special mention- excellence pretty well came as standard. The Falhumaa fine dining restaurant was a lovely experience in the moonlight
