One of the freshest sushi restaurants around. Consistency and portion sizes are similar when you repeat visit. Sashimi is cut well and not from (brick cuts). Although the written menu is not extensive, they will take specific requests. I always like simple avocado rolls (avocado, rice & nori only) and they will make them upon request.

husband and I had the Box Dinners at a table. He had teriyaki shrimp and I had Beef nagamoto. It was so boring! Nothing good to say about anything here..

Good fresh Japanese food, with the flare of Hibachi presentation. Hibachi chef was good-natured and entertaining. Food tasted great. Great place to gather with friends.

I was finally able to try Sakura one afternoon last week. Service was efficient, though slightly aloof. Menu options were enticing. We narrowed down food selections to: Kani Salad ($5.50; crab stick, cucumber, mayo, tobiko), Sakura Roll ($15.95; lobster tempura, eel, avocado, mango with soybean seaweed), American Dream Roll ($12.95; salmon and mango, tuna on top), King Roll ($13.95; king crab, avocado, mango top with lobster salad, crunch with mango sauce). Added to this were sake and a mango martini; clearly, there was a mango focus that day. The sake was considered "a bit astringent, more than usual sake." The food was generally fresh and flavorful. I was partial to the Sakura and King Rolls. We had no room for dessert, and after swatting a few tiny gnat-like bugs, I had no desire for it. However, I would return to Sakura in the future.

Graciously greeted upon entering and 99% of the time promptly seated. Service is excellent. All food items, especially sushi & sashimi are fresh. Everyone I speak to who have frequented Sakura the number 1 comment made is the freshness & quality of food products. I along with a few other locals dine here on a regular basis. Some times the servers may not quite understand what a customer is say, however in the end all is well. Strongly recommend to others as well I'll keep on frequenting here too. What's really amazing is the variance of ages & nationality of customers.
