We had a reservation but arrived early to get an outdoor table. Although most outdoor tables were empty when we arrived , we received a cut "no" to our request for an outdoor table. Once seated, our group ordered two bottles of wine, one red and one white. Neither request was available. When we finally ate, the food was not good. I ordered ravioli that was lukewarm , mushy and starchy. The sauce was barely edible so I scraped it off. Our waitress would frequently disappear. When we left, we noticed that about a third of the outdoor tables were still empty. We will not be back. Too many good restaurants in Rehoboth.

Made a reservation via Opentable at Zebra. Indicated on the reservation that it was for 2 people plus a child and requested a high chair. We made the reservation for 5:30 as we are cognizant of other diners who may or may not want to dine in the presence of a well behaved 2 year old. When we arrived at Zebra, we stowed our stroller outside and walked in dressed for the occasion. We were not greeted by the host who was standing there looking at us funny, but were greeted by the bartender. The host showed us toward the table, pointed and turned around. I asked for a high chair and he looked back while walking and said "We don't have high chairs" My wife and I sat down with our child, and nothing happened. Nothing for 5-6 minutes in an empty restaurant. We were the only people there besides the staff. The waitress finally came over with menus and greeted us. We asked for a booster seat if they had one. She responded "I'm not really sure if we have one." She left. Water was delivered and again we waited. No one checked back or took a drink order. After another 10 minutes, we stood up to leave and walked out. The Bartender did ask if everything was ok, we politely said "Our daughter would do better with a high chair and we do not want anyone to have a bad meal."

It was as if the whole time they wanted us to leave. Our daughter just sat on the chair playing with her book. We felt unwelcome, watched and stared at, so we just left. There was no visible staff except for the water person and the waitress dropping the menus off.

This could have been handled at the outset had Zebra called after reviewing the reservation and saying they do not have high chairs or do not welcome children. That would have been fine with us. Either way they wasted our time and made for an unpleasant experience. We were looking forward to trying their food.

Our second visit to zebra. The starters were amazing: mixed salad and avocado salad.
Last time we had their pastas and they were great. This time we decided to try their fish feature of the day which was not the best idea. My wife had a dover sole and me the halibut. Both were fried and dry. On top of the sole being $55 which is more expensive than in our favorite restaurant in DC were they serve it super fresh (al tiramisu). The sides were very good and fresh veggies. Oh and yes the bread was also very basic (felt like freshly unfrozen industrial buns). We will go again but focus on their home made pasta.

Three friends went to dinner here, made a reservation - I advise you do so as well. You can specify whether you want inside or outside (we did not know this). Upon being seated our server gave us fresh warm rolls and three small bites of bruschetta. Our party started with the Carpaccio and Salad. Both were nicely portioned, and delicious. The carpaccio tasted fresh and was lightly dressed with EVOO, arugula, and capers. For our meals, each person ordered a different pasta dish. You have the option for an appetizer portion or entree portion. With the appetizer, and then later dessert, I would assume that an appetizer portion would be plenty for most people. The entree portion was big, but so satisfying. I ordered the Carbonora, which was delightful. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente with a great cream sauce. Would definitely recommend this place for friends and dates. Probably a little too fancy for children!

Haven't been here in many years. Several people recommended it,decided to give it another try. We shared a salad, pasta and pounded veal Milanese, all we're delicious. The decor is dated but quirky. My husband thought 15.00 a drink was ridiculous!!
