Amazing facility. Well maintained boardwalks through wetlands with a great view of Hurons, Egrets, Coots, Moorhens, Ibis, ducks, turtles, fish, butterflies and plant life. Admission is free as was out docent led tour. Our volunteer guide, Steve, was wonderfully helpful as he pointed out many things we would have missed if we were on our own. His calm, laid-back demeanor set the tone for a relaxing stroll where we learned so much about the flora and fauna. We had a great experience. We saw so much. I cannot wait to return.

A wonderful place for a nature walk. Nice and easy....loops of either a mile or a half-mile on a well maintained boardwalk. There is a nature center that is open Wednesday through Saturday and has exhibits and a gift shop and is very well staffed. The boardwalk is very well marked with all that you will be able to see and you'll see some fantastic nature! If you're looking to fill an hour or two of the great outdoors in South Florida you don't want to miss this!

GREEN CAY NATURE CENTER, maintained by Palm Beach County, is a wonderful place to view nature and get some exercise and education. There are 2 raised boardwalks, one about a half mile and the other over a mile. Along the walks are informational signs and occasional benches. Sightings might include birds of prey, wading birds, songbirds, waterfowl, turtles, otters, gators, snakes, and other creatures of nature in the various ecosystems. Among your equipment should be a camera, water, sunblock, suitable clothing for the current weather and your needs. There is a visitor center with displays and helpful attendants. Ask for a schedule of events. Open from sunrise to sunset. GET OUTDOORS, STAY AS LONG AS YOU LIKE, AND ENJOY! PARKING AND ADMISSION ARE FREE!
