When I was a little girl, my family vacationed to AMI and stayed at Queens Gate. Now, many years later, I bring my family back to this historical landmark. Queens Gate has an amazing atmosphere, is family oriented, and has provided my family with memories that will last a lifetime. We have stayed at QG multiple times and have never had a bad experience. We highly recommend QG to anyone that is ready for a remarkable, relaxing, memory making, let your hair down and throw your cares away time. We personally want to thank Kathy, the manager, for allowing us to be a part of her QG family. See you again soon, Kathy! Thank you for keeping a little piece of heaven on earth so perfect!

My wife and I thought the location of the hotel was great. It was right across the street from the beach with very easy access. The room was clean when we first arrived and met our expectations. Unfortunately, later that night we noticed there were many flying bugs coming in around the sink and bathroom area. It was unsettling as you can imagine. After some quick Googling we thought they might be termites, but we aren't experts. We cleaned them all up and went to bed not sure what might happen while we were sleeping. The next morning we checked and there were many more that had come back. Bothered by this we spoke with the manager on duty and she seemed initially concerned. We showed her the bugs and she then told us that this was normal since they come in after a storm comes through the area even though they have pest control. I was disappointed that she didn't offer to compensate us somehow given that we paid money to have a restful nights sleep and that was hard to have when you aren't sure what is crawling around in your room. It was also surprising to hear that it was "normal" after a storm.

The hotel is fine. Clean and a great location. But, given the rate, I expected more. The room was never serviced during our three day stay. We got clean towels, which were pretty thin and worn. The rooms are tired and could use an update. But given the peak season, we were glad to get the room. Nice courtyard.

The Queen’s Gate Resort is a lovely place to stay while visiting Anna Maria Island. It is directly across from the path to the beach with easy access. Beach chairs, an umbrella and towels were provided on a rolling cart for each room. The beach was wide, clean, uncrowded. The location was convenient to shops, restaurants and everything you needed without having to drive. We stayed in the house which was lovely. It was a small two bedroom house with a complete kitchen and living/dining room. There was plenty of room to spread out comfortably. There was a small screened porch and an open deck off the back. The house was clean and in good condition. Bring coffee because only a limited supply is available. Despite being on the road, it was quiet inside. If you desire daily housekeeping, it is available upon request. If not, there is a basket for towel exchange daily. The public spaces were great including a covered sitting area, a nice pool with plenty of chairs and a grassy area. We would definitely stay here again.
