I live in cape coral and chose this resort even though it was 5 minutes from home. The hotel staff was outstanding and they helped make my wedding anniversary the best I'd ever had. The room was beyond gorgeous and i seriously didn't want to leave. The only problem was the hotel bar(nauti mermaid) had some seriously rude bartenders who apparently if you didn't look like you had a million bucks in your pocket felt perfectly justified in ignoring u and basically making you feel as small as possible. Funny thing is, being in the service industry myself i tip very very well but our blond middleaged heavyset bartender never gave me the chance to show her. Other than that it was an awesome experience but do yourself a favor and stay in the room!!!!!!

The resort is very modern and the rooms are simply gorgeous. Huge screened walkout patio with the views of the Caloosahatchee River and marina were amazing. Full kitchen with modern appliances allowed for the comfort of home while on vacation. The resort grounds were very tidy and landscaping was excellent. Marina Village offers 3 pools for the guests to use which are all surrounded by beautiful palm trees. All 3 pools and both hot tubs were very clean.

The concierge staff is very helpful with planning different activities to do. The resort offers a free dolphin cruise and a free trip to Fort Myers beach which should not be missed. Our youngest two children (3 and 6) had an absolute blast hanging out with Amanda (concierge) in the kids activity room making kites, coloring and playing games. The resort offers this for $5 for an hour per child and really helps break up the day so Mom and Dad can get some relaxation in while the kids take a break from the sun.

We own timeshare in St. Maarten and found this gem through Interval International. Out of all of the different resorts we have stayed at (Scottsdale, Orlando, Anaheim) this was by far the best. We will be definitely coming back for a future visit!!!

This place was quiet and relaxing, and spacious. The staff, especially Perrie the Concierge, and Christa the 1st Mate were outstanding. The Ft Myers Beach Shuttle and Dolphin Cruise are not to be missed- and are included in your regular hotel rate/activity fee.
There is a nice park within jogging distance, and we rode their free bikes almost every day. We also checked out tennis equipment every day and played across the street. The kids and pre-teen in our group loved their own flat screen TV, and Dad loved the marina.
Can't go wrong with this place. Fun for all! Thank you for the relaxing vacation!

My friends and I stayed at this hotel for our Mama's Only trip (no kids and no husbands! =). The hotel suite was AMAZING! We had 6 women total and had a two bedroom suite (1 king bed & 2 full size beds w/ 2 bathrooms). It was a perfect size for our group. We got our hotel at a HUGE discount on jetsetter.com so we didn't mind that it was on the marina. We would have loved to be at the beach but when it's a great deal, you can give up a few things. They also have 3 pools which made up for it.

This hotel has 3 pools (one of which is a lap pool). The 1st one is right behind the hotel and it's always very busy. It's very close to the restaurant and you can get drinks and food while you lay out. We stayed at this pool the 1st day because from our room, we couldn't see any other pool. On the 2nd day, I asked about the other two pools. We were told they were just a short walk away. I'm SOO glad we asked! The other two pools were HUGE! and only a handful of people there. It seemed like we had the pools all to ourselves! We stayed at those pools for the remainder of the trip. Also, near the other pools, the wind doesn't blow as bad as near the pool by the hotel. There were also tennis courts for anyone who wanted to play.

The only three downsides of hotel were 1st) a member of our group left her iPhone in the public womens restroom inside the hotel near the pool. When she remembered about 30 mins later, she went back and it was gone. We contacted hotel security and to no avail, they didn't have ANY cameras near that area. Hard to believe since it was right near an exit, elevators, the pool, the gym, etc. We were extremely disappointed but what can you do. The 2nd was the hotel restaurant, Marker 92, was horrible! The dynamite shrimp was DRENCHED in spicy mayo that was inedible it was so spicy (and I LOVE spicy food). The sushi was also lacking very much. One of the girls had a pasta dish that tasted soapy. The 3rd and last thing was just a slight thing. The beds are a bit hard so your neck might be a little sore the next day. Only half the girls experienced this. Just depends how hard/soft you like your bed.

Also, the free wifi is not available in the suites/rooms. Only in the main lobby and pool. It was also very hard to connect to the wifi even at those locations. They do have a business center with a few computers for you to check email/print out boarding passes.

Room Tip: If you can get it at a huge discount its worth it!

We enjoyed our 6 day stay here. The rooms and resort were top notch, the pool is good, and the staff is completely helpful. The only complaint I have is the pillows were terrible. For as great as everything else at the place is, I'm surprised the pillows were something out of a Motel 6.....but hey, if that's the only thing I can complain about the room it must be a pretty darn good place. Depending on what you are doing in the area, the location may not be the greatest. It took us over 30-45 minutes to get anywhere (Ft. Myers Beach, Sanibel, spring training ball parks, etc). Since we were in town mostly for baseball, it made it kind of a pain. One thing to keep in mind - there is NO wireless internet above the 2nd floor so bring a network cable since there is a jack in the room. We each made 2 visits to the spa - the first time the service was pleasant, the environment was relaxing and we were incredibly satisfied. The second trip was the opposite - not so friendly, not quite relaxing, and pretty disappointed. I'm not sure we would go back there but the one good visit was great.....
