Everything about the Villa was wonderful. Altho the breakfast was slight it was really delightful. Homemade biscuits and honey and whipped cream...yum and cut fruit.
Jim was a perfect host, professional, and personal at the same time. Our room was sweet with a darling little balcony with a great view of the trees and clouds and the pool at night is romantically lit.( Chris Columbus room). Location was super for us, close to classier Ormond Beach but also close to Bandshell of Daytona beach. Very relaxing with gorgeous furniture. Price was less than a hotel.

This is a beautifully restored 1929 architectural gem that is impeccable in cleanliness, landscaping, furnishings, service and quietness. The gated parking is in a quiet secure neighborhood. The acre plus grounds are well kept and a pool and spa are available. The rooms are well appointed with refrigerators and good beds. There are many original fixtures that are in superb condition since this was the heyday of American quality construction. It is a short walk to the beach or one of the near by strips of activity. The continental breakfast is acceptable, but this is not a restaurant, it is a comfortable show place to enjoy the quiet and opulence. The host is personable and indulgent without being intrusive. If you enjoy historic lodging, you can't go wrong with this outstanding example.

Room Tip: The house only has 4 rooms and any would be a winner. A tour is available.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Villa. Jim is a wonderful host. Beds and baths are very comfortable. It's very quiet for being located so close to all the action. A short 3 block walk to many restaurants. Our friends are repeat guests and we would definitely go back.

The Villa turned out to be all I expected. The location to the beach was perfect and the ability to relax on my own balcony with a view and hot tub was spectacular. Jim, the host was very kind, gracious, and showed the pride he took in taking care of his guest. He went above and beyond to to take care of every need and gave service not included in the price. Thank you Jim and I will be back. You should go!!!

This place is fantastic! Beautiful historic mansion, beautiful room, and beautiful grounds. Jim, the owner, is the perfect host. Very friendly and thoughtful about our needs without being the least bit overbearing. Excellent pool that we almost always had to ourselves. It saved us during a very hot and humid week. The Villa is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and yet is within walking distance to the busy beach strip. Parking is gated. Felt very safe and secure. Beach towels and bathrobes provided. Refrigerator and amenities in each room. Very comfortable bed. Next time we are in the Daytona area, we will definitely stay at The Villa. Everything about it exceeded our hopes.
