First of all, tremendous service from Jhony! We started with 3 ceviches - classico (fresh corvina, lime, red onion, cilantro), mixto (fresh corvina, shrimp, calamari) and nikkei (fresh ahi tuna, watermelon, wakami salad - the best!!), and avocado salads (don't bother-bland). There was grilled skirt steak with sweet plantains and fried egg (yummy) and fish takitos (grouper, asian slaw, aji & avocado salad - quite good); the Miraflorina salad with pulled chicken salad, avocados, tomato, red onion (good for the dieters) and the chilled mussels with red onion cirtus relish - delish but very light. Topped it all off with the lucuma alfajores, which had a thin chocolate cake base, and was a thick pudding/flan of fruity origin - delicious. Certainly, they do a lot of things right here, and for a new spot, they were quite busy with young couples on a Saturday night.

New Peruvian restaurant on the street..

THIS place was everything all the others said it was..THE BEST HAPPY hour...5-8 pm..drinks 2 for 1
The appetizers were $5 per plate and plenty of food.

Parking available on the street and HUGE parking lot behind the restaurant with a walk thru to the front of the street.

We tried the Cevichito (ceviche) delicious!! big chunks of fish marinated in lime with onions and corn..think large hominy grits)..we also tried the ""lomo saltado" (Peruvian sirloin stir fry) which are slices of filet mignon stir fried with onions, cherry tomatoes, potatoes in a terrific red sauce that had cilantro and other spices and then also tried the wings..The wings really won us over with the spicy salsa they served on the side...In FACT, we loved the food so much, we pigged out on another order of the Lomo Saltado...I wanted to try the dulce le leche cake but had no room for it..

The owner was a sweetheart and the bartender who was awesome was Rachel. She kept recommending the dishes to try and the ones she likes..She hit it spot on! ..We had a wonderful dinner and drinks were 2 for 1....

YES YES YES ...we will be back ! since I want to try the Octopus on the main menu!

Go support this place ..It's just WEST of SWINTON on West Atlantic ave in those new office bldgs....the main menu looked amazing to try...we will be back !

But happy hour was literally one of THE BEST ones I have had on Atlantic Ave !!

First of all, I only give 5 stars to the best restaurants in the country. Having said that, Ceviche 401 is a great place. The parking behind the building is ample. They have done a beautiful job on the build out of this restaurant. The bar is beautiful. You can tell when an ethnic Peruvian restaurant is good when all the South Americans eat there.

The food was terrific. We had the mixed cerviche, of course. It was delicious. We also had the potato/chicken salad cake which was a bit spicy. There wasn't even a drop of that left when we were done.

The staff couldn't be friendlier. We will be back for dinner. Soon!

have been here twice. it still is in the growing stage process as far as service. nothing terrible, but the servers just need more practice. although last night the owner was talking to a table of girls the whole time we were there, didn't come over to us. First time we had a ceviche and a causa. both were very tasty. both had the skirt steak with tacu tacu. delicious. last night we shared the calamari. it was very tender and tasty with the sauce and onions. although not terribly hot, so i'm not sure how it was cooked. had the other skirt steak with pesto pasta. again, very tasty. we have been to Lima many times, and this brings back good memories. we will be back. TIP plenty of free parking in the rear of the building off of Atlantic.

While understanding this is a new place, it was completely dead in the bar area during happy hour. The food is good but his place is a little west of the core atlantic ave restaurants which could be impacting traffic. It's worth a try!
