Great location on the water, great standard hotel room (we didn’t have the best view) with excellent bed, good free parking, breakfast was plentiful and great service. The quirky building is an interesting mix of original and new.

Lovely stay as always! Spacious room and wonderful complimentary breakfast. The location to shops and restaurants can’t be beat! The beautiful view of the harbor is one of my favorite things about our room.

Facility was clean with friendly and helpful staff. Near marina and downtown shopping. Area was not family friendly with mostly pub eating establishments. Only disappointment was eclectic breakfast choices with microwaved eggs, and not having biscuits and gravy, like most southern breakfasts.

I've had my eye on this Hilton property for some time and finally caught a great price for the 1 king 1 bedroom suite with living room and kitchenette at $133.00 a night plus tax. When we walked in to the room it was the biggest Hampton Inn room I had ever seen...I think it was a bigger suite than what Residence Inn calls a suite these days. Windows everywhere with two large windows in the living room and three windows in the bedroom because room 422 is a corner suite. One window looked out at the harbor and the rest looked south with partial harbor views. I never knew those train tracks between the Hampton Inn and the harbor were still in use but...bonus round...you get trains coming by right next to the room and you get some shake and bounce entertainment to boot. We would jump up and do the train shake boogie as they rumbled by. Weather permitting you get great sunset views and pictures from the west facing window in the bedroom. Bed was comfy...breakfast was high quality in a roomy area with comfortable seating and a wall of windows next to the pool area. The breakfast room is well decorated with high ceilings and these artistic metal birds flying about the room. Every detail is well done here. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. BTW if you are a Hilton Honors member (it's free to join) you can check in early (before you arrive) and choose the room you want from what is expected (by the computer) to be available at check in time. That's how we got room 422 and were so pleased. The front desk ( I forgot to get her name) even gave me tips on other rooms with great views and she had sunset pictures from the rooms on her smartwatch guests had sent to her. Wish I could live there.....

Room Tip: Join Hilton Honors and pick a good room online at online check in....

Great hotel with friendly and competent staff. Located within walking distance of several restaurants. It was a nice comfortable staycation for the evening of our 44th anniversary. Highly recommend it.
