We were searching for a quiet hotel near the beach and not too crowded. Elita was perfect and the location is amazing. It's a small hotel, so we didn't have to worry about crowds of people at the pool or in the common areas. Most of the time we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The staff is very friendly. It's a cozy environment and we even had some nice conversations with a few other guests around the pool.

It's also very clean and the staff are constantly walking around with spray bottles sanitizing surfaces in the common areas- we really appreciate the extra efforts. The grounds are also very well maintained.

There are bunch of restaurants nearby. There's a great vegan place directly across the street and some fancier restaurants just at the end of the street. The waits can be somewhat long for the nice restaurants, so we found it was best to just make a reservation for those. Also the beach is literally a few steps away.....less than half a block. So even if you're sitting on the beach and need to run back to the room to grab a drink or whatever, it only takes a minute.

This hotel exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to stay here again.

The property is in nice shape. I needed a break from Winter and currently on work from home/anywhere. I chose Elita for location and price. A mistake for my purpose.
The wifi didn't work for most of the week I stayed in the hotel. Cell service was not great in the rooms, not allowing a hotspot to work consistently. Also, with limited housekeeping, I had to schedule this when I needed it - which was fine. However, the two times I scheduled, the person did not show up at that time and was more than an hour late. With various video calls for work, that doesn't work, unfortunately. Finally, the sound privacy between rooms was also terrible. I could hear conversations of the neighboring room as well as being on the first floor, could hear every footstep of the room above me. It may be fine for a vacation but clearly not a hotel that you could function as a business person.

We stayed at the Elita Hotel to escape the cold of NYC. It has a wonderful small pool and a comfortable courtyard to relax in. The only thing the hotel needs to do is upgrade their pool chairs before the summer season. The chairs were very uncomfortable. Our room was very clean and tidy, but a little small. We also heard our next door neighbors' conversations, as the walls are paper thin. I don't know how the hotel might fix this, but it was definitely an inconvenience.

The best things were that it was a 2 minute walk from the beach and boardwalk. There are a lot of food choices on the boardwalk as well. Parking on the property is free as long as you display their decal. Lastly, the staff was very friendly & helpful. Very accommodating.
