We booked three nights at this property in early April because Rodeway is a known quantity. It was still fairly expensive, even though it was a 20 minute drive from the airport. It is formerly the Universal Palms Hotel that Rodeway has acquired recently. The building looks presentable from a distance. The lobby appeared nice. But wash your shoes soon because the corridor floors are filthy, as are the exterior walls. The stairs are missing many tiles and in some places you can see rusted out iron of the stairway structure. The rooms do not have WiFi. The excuse was that Rodeway was redoing the system. You had to go to the lobby and stand near the front desk to get WiFi. The room furnishings were worn and appeared dirty. No fridge, no microwave, no coffee maker. Housekeeping service was scant. The towels were old and thin. Twice I had to go to the front desk to ask for items that housekeeping would have left at any moderately good motel. Having to kill cockroaches in the room was the last straw. I talked to other motel guests who felt the same as we did. The included breakfast was nothing with no place to sit down. Coffee, but no tea. Muffins that probably came from Costco, which is okay. Milk in a gallon jug from the grocery store. Same for the orange juice. Really, nothing more. There are very few times I have stayed in a national brand motel and felt completely ripped off. This was one of the few. Do not stay here until Rodeway can guarantee that the property has been complete renovated and staff have been trained in hospitality service. Motel photos on other booking sites do not represent the reality of this property.

Room Tip: There is no good room. Do not stay here.

This was an amazing stay with such an amazing staff. Kyle at the front desk is the best with an amazing personality. He made every moment of my visit FANTASTIC. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay somewhere for a few nights.
